In 2022 RightForge shut down after a legal battle with Donald Trump's Truth Social over $1.6 million the conservative internet-hosting vendor says it's owed, according to a Fox Business report.
Three sources told Fox Business that Truth Social stopped making payments just a month after launching. RightForge threatened legal action over the money owed for setting up Truth Social's infrastructure. After a legal dispute RightForge fell. They simply shut down permanently.
In May of 2026 CEO John Freeman a native to Springfield Missouri purchased the Business name RightForge Technologies and re-launched the network with the same values.
CEO John Freeman sent numerous letters to the former CEO of RightForge Martín Avila. After 4 years John sent 16 letters notifying his intentions of relaunching the network under his ownership.
NO RESPONSE. After 4 years he received no response.
So John relaunched it anyway. Under his datacenter infrastructure and his cloud network. Datacenters in Dallas Texas. RightForge is back.
