Tickets for Titans-Giants game plummet to shocking lows ahead of nor'easter

If you're looking for ways to kill time during this weekend's nor'easter that's set to wreak havoc on the east coast, can I interest anyone in a little Titans-Giants action from MetLife Stadium Sunday at 1 p.m.?

Anyone? Any takers? Bueller?

Well, if you're feeling adventurous, tickets for Sunday's game have plummeted to as low as $14 on Stubhub as of Saturday morning.

That's right. Tickets for an actual NFL game — a New York Giants game, no less — are going for a pound of ground beef at Publix.

Grass-fed only, of course. MAHA!

Look, the storm probably has a lot to do with this, although the forecast for MetLife Stadium Sunday afternoon isn't the worst thing in the world. A lot of rain. A lot of wind. But nothing folks can't handle.

The problem, I'd imagine, will be getting to the actual stadium. Who knows what that commute's gonna look like Sunday morning. The northeast is set to get dumped on all weekend as this storm bears down. I've lived through dozens of hurricanes. I've lived through several nor'easters. Both are terrible. You never know what you're gonna wake up to in the morning.

That being said ... I'd imagine the loss of Jaxson Dart isn't helping ticket sales, either. Dart, the Giants' star quarterback, took a nasty hit to the knee last Monday night in Los Angeles, and underwent season-ending surgery earlier this week.

Jameis Winston is set to take over full-time starting duties under center for John Harbaugh for the rest of the year, and Winston didn't exactly light it up in relief in Monday's loss.

One more factor here ...

The Tennessee Titans ain't exactly a huge draw. They're among the worst teams in the NFL, despite nearly knocking off the Eagles last week. Not a ton of star-power on that side of the field.

So, yeah ... you add it all up — the weather, the injury to Dart, the opposition — and it turns up a $14 ticket in the nosebleeds.
