Lioness season 3 episode 2 opening scene leaves fans stunned with its intensity on Paramount+

"Lioness" shocked fans with a brutal opening scene in the latest episode.

Taylor Sheridan's hit CIA/military series returned on Paramount+ with an explosive season three debut on Aug. 2.

The "Yellowstone" creator took things to a new level with the latest season of the series starring Zoe Saldaña.

Despite the season three premiere being wild, I'm not sure fans were expecting what unfolded in episode two.

One of the main storylines in season three is Joe (Saldaña) being kidnapped following the operation in Ukraine to capture a high-ranking Russian intelligence agent.

Well, the opening scene of episode two, which came out Sunday, was nothing short of shocking as Joe is stripped and searched for the tracking piece in her.

Ultimately, she has no choice but to give up its location or face a much more brutal outcome at the hands of her captors.

It's one of the most intense scenes in the entire saga of the show, and if you haven't already seen it, you'll understand exactly what I'm talking about once you do.
