An incident in Los Angeles left 30 injured after a driver plowed into a crowd early Saturday morning. Capt. Adam Van Gerpen, public information officer for the Los Angeles City Fire Department, told reporters that out of the 30 injured, 23 were transported to medical facilities. Van Gerpen also confirmed that one person with a gunshot wound was taken for treatment. It is unclear if this was the driver.

The LAFD said there were seven in critical condition, six in serious condition and 19 in fair condition. Additionally, seven patients refused transport.

At approximately 2:00 a.m. local time, LAFD personnel were dispatched to what Van Gerpen called a "large, chaotic scene." A "large group of people" were standing outside of a club when a vehicle rammed into them.
